Abraham Zamora Torres has been IEnova's Chief Corporate Affairs Officer since December 2018.
Before joining IEnova he worked as Chief of Staff of the Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2017 to 2018, Chief Executive Officer in the National Bank of Public Works and Services (BANOBRAS) from 2015 to 2017, and Head of the Economic Productivity Unit at the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit from 2013 to 2015.
From 2006 to 2013, Abraham served as Chief Corporate and Industry Affairs Officer at Aeromexico and as President of the National Air Transportation Association from 2011 to 2013.
Between 1991 and 2004 he held several positions at Mexican Public Administration, including within the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit and the Ministry of Communications and Transportation.
Abraham Zamora holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) and has two master degrees in Public Policy and Administration from Columbia University and Political Economy from University of Essex.
Cristina has over 19 years of experience in the energy sector in Mexico. Since May 2016, she is Director of External Affairs and Sustainability for IEnova. From 2014 to 2016, Cristina served as Director of Analysis and Regulation at the company. Among her responsibilities were analyzing the new regulation in the wake of the 2013 energy reform process and coordinate the issuance of the first Sustainability Report of IEnova. From 2008 to 2013, she served as Director of Government and Regulatory Affairs, position in which she was responsible for the analysis of the applicable regulation, federal permits, and compliance for all of the company's assets in Mexico. From 2003 to 2008, she was Manager of Government and Regulatory Affairs, position in which she supported the development of projects and operating businesses of the company. Cristina joined Sempra Energy in 1998. Between 1994 and 1996, she worked at the under-ministry for North America of the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Cristina holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations form El Colegio de México and a Master's Degree in International Relations and Pacific Studies from the University of California, San Diego.
Lucila García has been the Sustainability Manager since October 2013. She has extensive experience in advising various industries and sectors on the design of the sustainability strategy, economic, environmental and social risk management and preparation and verification of Sustainability Reports, among other disciplines. She has worked at both national and international levels, with experiences in Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Costa Rica and Central America in general. Lucila has national and international specialized training, and experience in sustainable development standards and guidelines, such as GRI, AA1000APS (2008) and verification standards such as AA1000AS(2008) and ISAE3000. She has held the "Certified Sustainability Assurance Practitioner" (CSAP) certification since February 2010, which accredits her as a professional in sustainability verification services. Lucila has been a GRI "Certified Coach" in Latin America.
In 2010, she was a member of the "Future Leader Team" organized by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), a project that allowed her to interact and lead a management and multidisciplinary team from companies from different sectors and parts of the world with work meetings in Switzerland, the United States and China. Lucila is a Biochemical Engineer, holds a Master's Degree in Sciences with a major in environmental systems from the Technological and Higher Education Institute of Monterrey (ITESM) and an MBA from the EGADE Business School and the University of Texas in Austin.
Alex Rios since 2013 is the Director of Corporate Ethics at IEnova; from 2006 to 2013 he was the Director of Government Affairs at Sempra International. Before joining Sempra, he was an attorney for the Organization of American States (OAS) in Washington, DC. He also served as Legal Adviser for the Federal Attorney General of Mexico. Previously, he worked as an attorney for Mexico's President Elect Energy Transition. In addition to his responsibilities at IEnova, Alex is the Chairman of the Mexico Business Center-San Diego Chamber of Commerce. Alex holds a Master's degree from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University in Washington DC; a Master's degree in Law (LLM) from University of San Diego, School of Law and a Law degree from Anahuac del Sur University in Mexico City. Alex was Professor of Law and International Affairs at Baja California's State University.
Ramiro Fernandez has been IEnova's Compliance Manager since April 2013 and is responsible for several areas, the most important being Environment and Quality, in which he has more than 13 years' experience. Ramiro holds a Law Degree from the Santa Fe Campus of the Universidad Iberoamericana, in Mexico City. Before joining IEnova, he worked as a lawyer for a firm engaged mainly in Environmental Law, in the fields of environmental impact and risk, as well as prevention, risks and control or air, water and soil contamination and the management of hazardous substances, among others.
Remigio Agraz is a specialist in Industrial Safety with more than 14 years' experience in the areas of occupational health and safety, safety in processes and environmental risk. Remigio has broad experience in the interpretation and compliance with the international risk prevention norms, regulations and standards (e.g. Official Mexican Standard NOM-028 STPS Mexico, the OSHA PSM standard, SEVESO). He has advised, developed, audited and run occupational health and safety, safety in processes and environmental risk programs in several internationally recognized industries in the chemical and petro-chemical fields, as well as in the paper, foods, fertilizer and manufacturing industries. He is an instructor of professionals in various countries on subjects such as industrial safety and hazard analysis, among others. He has also published specialized articles on the subject. Remigio is a Mechanical Engineer Administrator graduated from the Technological and Higher Education Institute of Monterrey (ITESM), Monterrey Campus, Mexico and holds a Master's Degree in Industrial Health and Safety from Pennsylvania State University in the USA.
Juan José works as the Environmental Corporate Manager of IEnova. Prior to joining the company, he worked in a number of environmental consulting firms where he developed extensive experience in advising oil & gas firms and the cement industry, among others. He has undertaken numerous environmental audits, impact assessments, site assessments, as well as hazardous waste minimization projects. He also has developed greenhouse gas inventories, the definition of mitigations measures, and sustainability strategies. Juan José is Environmental Engineer, and holds a Master´s Degree in Sciences and Sustainable Development from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) and a Doctorate in Sciences and Environmental Engineering from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM).
